HOW TO TEACH YOUR KID TO WRITE

This private video is the simple way we think about writing...and the way we taught our 5 children at home until they went off to college. Sometimes, we humans do what I call "overcomplexificate" things. If something is SIMPLE doesn't mean it's simplistic or easy, but it does mean it is understandable and easy-enough to explain. In some ways, what you are watching here is a bit of a 'duh'---but everything that is profound has that flavor. I am saying this is profound, and I remain grateful I stumbled over this simple approach.

If you boil it down, WRITE DAILY is enough of an explanation. And yet, there's more. You probably are going to be wise to take notes and post these notes in your homeschool room (or on the fridge) as a reminder until you get these ideas 'into your bones' simply as the way we do writing.
